A Day in the Life of a Bad Dieter
My husband has been on the whole “keto” thing this past month and I have (sort of) been doing it too. I really didn’t know anything about the keto diet, but here’s what I’ve found out:
The ketogenic diet is high in fat, low in carbohydrates and pushes the body to burn fats rather than carbs… (That’s it, that’s all I know.) Read more about it here.
For me- the hardest part with this particular diet are the sugar restrictions. I am a sugar ADDICT. So, we have been trying to concoct desserts that are in line with the diet but that actually taste good too. Newsflash, dessert doesn’t taste that good without sugar. SO we’ve found some natural sweeteners, sugar alternatives that have actually worked pretty well.
Below are some Keto friendly dessert recipes, some of which we’ve tried and some we’re going to try. Here’s to never giving up dessert!
